In most applications of the PCAP, the display screen is the key part fitting with the touch screen. The industry display has more critical specifications different from the demand of consumer applications, such as wide temperature, high brightness, vibration reliability and so on. We have more than 20 years of experience in the photoelectric field, and have in-depth cooperation with the mainstream display brand, which can assist our customers to do the display selection.
At the same time, considering the customized needs of customers, Chipswork has also developed a series of standard specifications for different markets in the original screen specifications, to meet the different needs of customers. The detail specifications are as the bellowing list.
In order to facilitate the customer product design and special requirements for display, we can also provide customers with display signal interface conversion board (AD Board), the display interface from RGB, LVDS, MIPI, eDP and so on into standard HDMI, VGA, DVI, DP, etc.In the field of medical display, we can also provide customers with Gamma calibration to meet the needs of medical image display.
Standard interfaces of display include:RGB、LVDS、MIPI、eDP,etc,The embedded system needs the corresponding Hardware interface to supporting the I/O,and developing the communication protocol in the system driver. For most customers,It’s high cost solution to developing the display software according to the different display interface when the customers select the Windows/Linux or Android. Therefore, we provide the special interface conversion scheme,the embedded system support standard protocol,such as HDMI/DVI/VGA/DP signal input. It will simplify the development complexity making the display peripherals standard. The monitor is the typical design.

LCD display modules have the individual difference due to the limitations of display manufacturing process . Every displays are small difference when the display source is the same. Due to the differences in the individual hardware, there are differences in how users perceive the displayed image. This difference is not acceptable in medical diagnostic applications, and in order to standardize the information call between digital imaging devices, general medical display products must comply with DICOM standards.
Different applications have different standards, but all require Gamma calibration of the display. The basic principle of calibration: we test the color coordinate of the monomer is tested with a special color coordinate test instrument (CA310) in different gray scales before the calibration , the monomer will fluctuate within a certain error range. Through the external AD Board, the color coordinates of each grayscale fluctuation are pulled back to the standard curve to meet the requirements of the DICOM curve. 。
